Section 13 of the Terms of Service now sets out the Network Traffic & Fair Usage Policy: how the 5:1 ratio works, when bandwidth is reduced and how to lift a restriction.

We have updated our Terms of Service. The change takes effect on the date of this publication, 3 November 2026. The former traffic items of Section 12 (Other Provisions) are replaced by a new, separate Section 13, Network Traffic & Fair Usage Policy. Operator's Requisites is now Section 14.

What the new policy says

  • Outgoing (TX) traffic on VPS and DS orders is unlimited and unmetered.
  • Incoming (RX) traffic is unmetered as long as it does not exceed 20% of outgoing traffic (a 5:1 outgoing-to-incoming ratio), evaluated separately for each day and each month.
  • If the ratio is violated, the incoming-traffic thresholds of your plan apply: the monthly threshold and a daily threshold of 10% of it. Bandwidth is reduced in two stages, at 80% and at 100% of a threshold. This affects speed only; exceeding a threshold does not by itself bring extra charges or suspension.
  • A restriction is lifted when the period resets or the ratio is restored. You can also upgrade your plan, renew it early, or open a ticket to request additional traffic.
  • Attacks, abuse and malicious traffic can be limited or suspended at any time, whatever the ratio.

For VDS and DS orders only the Network Traffic & Fair Usage Policy applies; the Resource Usage & Fair Usage Policy does not.
